Wikis

I looked at some of the wikis and I played in the SPL sandbox. It is very interesting to think that anyone can go in and edit the page and maybe edit your post. I can see the use of wikis, but I am a little nervous about someone changing what I write.

Technology and the library

I found the articles to be very interesting. Technology is happening so fast and it is definately impacting the library. SPL seems to be addressing the changes very well.

7 1/2 habits of highly successful lifelong learners

Of the 7 1/2 habits of lifelong learners, the easiest habit for me is viewing problems as challenges. The hardest is creating my toolbox. I am not very good at goal setting.

My first time to blog

I am trying my best to learn new technology. I have recently been following the career of Taylor Hicks. I have learned to download music and videos to own home computer, comment on fan websites, used an Ipod and downloaded music. It really makes me feel good to learn all of these new skills. I run a scrapbooking business on the side and I have recently learned how to use the Creative Memories Storybook program to create a digital book. It was so much fun.
